I started working with clay in 2020 and pretty quickly became hooked. A few years in, I realised I wanted to do more than make my own pieces. I wanted to help other people make their own too. That’s how Cut Clay Love came about.

I create slab pottery templates: printable patterns that make hand building a little easier, taking some of the guesswork out of turning a flat slab of clay into something three-dimensional. I make everything from everyday kitchenware to vases and decorative pieces.

Before ceramics, I spent years working with pattern making, so I’ve always loved the process of taking a flat shape and figuring out how it can come together as a finished form. That way of thinking naturally found its way into my pottery.

I want my templates to feel like a helping hand in the studio: clear, straightforward and actually useful. Everything is designed, tested and made with the hope that it makes the process of creating with clay a little more enjoyable.
